7th week @ Razali Omar Design - Me? Director?

Assalamualaikum,
Hasrul again in the new week. =)
As we all know, next week gonna be my final week of Internship Programed and i start to feel wanna work and stop study for my Bachelor(HONS) but i think that not gonna be happen because for the past 5 years i have been study and i don't want to broke my parents ambitious which is to see their son have the Degree scroll and the name of Hasrul Azrin Mohamad Nazir at the PICC hall. That was their ambition. Seriously i don't want to disappointed them.

In this week, we as a ROD team seat together and discuss about the new job which is about TV commercial. I was given a task to find any source of TV commercial and download it as references. Then we will make a 30sec TV commercial about Bank Rakyat Credit Card. Then i was given a task to translate the Press Advertisement into English version. They also want me to find the suitable word for this credit card so that when people read it, they will remember. I surf the internet and find a lot of references about the credit card and from there i innovate an idea how to create a word about Bank Rakyat Credit Card. I hope all the word i propose to Bank Rakyat management will be used in the banner, pamphlet, bunting and so on. I will feel very proud if all my hard work can be seen with my own eyes.

In this week, all i do i to find all source about TV commercial and the others bank TV commercial and from there i can imagine what gonna be with the Bank Rakyat Credit card TV commercial. Actually i have my own idea how to manage the video and i will work with bro Jamal on the storyboard about the TV commercial. Storyboard will tell us the flow of the TV commercial so that the management will understand what we gonna do next.

In this week i think there is about 2 meetings about this task because we want to grab this opportunities and at the same time it will increase the profit in the company and that what i learn from ROD this week. Whatever it is, we have to take the challenge so that people will not underestimate us as a small company.

6th week @ Razali Omar Design - How to be a factory workers?

Oh yeah hye and Assalamualaikum to all my friends! 6th week on Razali Omar Design make me feel like don't want to leave the company but what can i do because i'm just the internship student in this company =( At first i felt like kinda bored and feel wanna go home early everyday but the feel start to changes when i'm comfortable with it. I start to felt ROD is one of my soul and decision to leave ROD was not my decision and its actually the contract of internship programed. 


 I have two more weeks to go and after that i'm done in ROD company. This week i would like to share my experience at ROD. As usual, like i said last week which is very busy and before this i kept asking what work to do and so on but on December in ROD are really busy because here we have to make sure all the design, the output of the design are ready and can be delivered to our company. Even though i were busy working and sometimes i went back home at 8.00pm and i feel very exhausted and don't want to come to the office anymore but i have strength to get back to work and everything done smoothly. Alhamdulilah. At this week also we as a team go to the factory which is in Puchong to check the quality of the printing so that the customer wont complaint about our product and artwork. When in the factory, the situation are totally different from office because as you all know printing factory quite hot and have very medium air ventilation. We have to check all over 9000 diary if there is mistakes or any problems with the diary before we can deliver to our client. This week make us very tired and its okay because for me, i learnt  the life of being the factory workers and trust me, its exhausted and really danger.

5th week @ Razali Omar Design - Hasrul as a Quality Check Person

Wahh 5th week already!  Time goes so fast. For the 5th week of my internship, there's is a lot work to do which is i have to make sure all the notebook and diary design for bank Rakyat are in good condition and all the diary are enough for them. There is a dozen of box and all is diary and notebook. What i do is to check the quality of the stamping and all the pages inside it. If there is a mistake, i have to separated it aside and return to the printing company and scold them( uurghhhhh marah nih!) hahaha!


And what i noticed on the 5th week is i was the transporters  in the company! Damn! but its okay because i'm kinda love it to drive all over kuala Lumpur with the baby Alphard(Nissan Vannete) Hahah! =D
At first i felt very lazy to drive the baby alphard because i never drive a van before this! But everything changes when i'm in it. when Malaysia F1 driver on it, Nissan vannete will be like Mclaren! haha!
okay thats it for this week. What i can concluded is 5th week were busy week because a lot work to do and on the 5th week also i am the "Transporters of Razali Omar Design" ^_^

4th week @ Razali Omar Design - Canon 550D, come to me!

I come early today, is about 9.30am and i bought Nasi Lemak for my breakfast and usually i will take my breakfast before doing any job.On this week I did all my work as usual but I think I have done it too fast. So I have finished all of the work on the last Friday. On Monday, i was not report at the office because i'm on my vacation with the family to Langkawi and late at night i arrive at home and tomorrow i will start my work back! 

So, on Tuesday and so on I have no work to do. Well, because I have no work to do.. I ask one of the staff do they have any work for me to do and finally they gave me a task which is to design the banner about "Karnival Bank Rakyat". This time I need to do it really slow to make sure I will always have a work to do on Wednesday, my supervisor asked me to do the learn from the internet to make me understand more about Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop and if i still can't get it then they will guide me how to do it. Actually it's very hard to do it because i have no basic of doing it and my basic is on Business field but its okay because i can learn new things from them. Way you go Hasrul! I have done did all of my work in a week. Bro Jamal and Bro Nazs are very professional when designing a banner, bunting, flag line and so on. They are very good, i salute!

But there is one thing when i work here, i start to like photo shoot because its really fun! bro jamal and nazs teach me a lot of skills how to captured the image using the right ways, play with light, make it beautiful and many more. This is very interesting and start from there, i wish that i would have a DSLR camera on my own! If i have my own DSLR, i thing i will stick with my DSLR wherever i go! Hope to have it soon.. AMIN.....

3rd week @ Razali Omar Design - Holiday in the Office

HalllooOoo.. =)
For the third week of my internship program, not much work to do. They don't gave me any work to do, me and my friend, Fahmie just sent all important things like document to Bank Rakyat at Jalan Tangsi and go to the Maxima Printing at Puchong. Its quite bored actually when there is no work to do in office hour because all you do is wait until the other staff finish their works. After i did all the things, my supervisor(bro Jamal) will asked me a report on how much i did every day. So i need to work hard on it to make sure my performance is at the satisfactory level.

On Monday, November 15, 2010 i do a work which is to separate the pictures from HDD to their own folderasuch as if the picture are flowers, so i have to put it as one. But on November 16, 2010 the other staff asked me to translate the malay magazine into English magazine which is actually very hard. It was hard to translate from malay to English directly so i used my skills to translate them into good english for that MPSJ magazine. Finally i did it! Oh yeah!! Finally. On Wednesday November 17, 2010 we have a break because of Hari Raya Aidiladha. So...like anyone else.. no work to do.Holiday! On Thursday i went back to work as usual and start doing the separation of the pictures. I have done all my part on that day and i got nothing else to do. On Friday i asked bro Jamal whether i have any work to do. He said no more work because the company have to wait for the next job in next week maybe. I asked him again whether there is anything that i can do and he said, no work. This week i can conclude that "No work to do week" ^_^

Day 11 @ Razali Omar Design, Taman Setiawangsa

Hasrul Azrin - 11th November 2010

Today I'm not working because we arrived at Kuala Lumpur at 5.00am and then wait for Encik Taufiq to fetch us and sent we home. He arrives at 5.40am at Greenwood station. Then he sent me home and i arrive at home about 6.00am. I can't sleep after that and so in the bus, i can't sleep. I take my breakfast and tell the experience of journey to my parents and at 10.30am i start to feel sleepy and i slept. Then i woke up at 4.00pm with lot of Missed Call from the office, i wanted to go to the office but i overslept and i'm so sorry. Its my bad.
Then i received a text message from the office said..

"Salam Hasrul. Jamal and Fahmi called and you did not answer nor return their call. We do not know your where about and i consider you did not report for work today. I do expect some explanation from you for your absent today. If you do not report for work tomorrow, without valid  reasons, i will not hesitate to terminate your internship with Razali Omar Design. Cc: Encik Taufiq/Jamal"

Tomorrow i have to see En.Taufiq for explanation about my absent today. I'm not good at lying and what i will do is i will tell the truth which is i overslept and did not hear the called. Thats it. What happen will be my responsibilities. If they want to terminate me, its okay. My bad right? i'll face it. And if i were terminate, i'll find another company to do the internship programmed and actually i have found one in case if i will be terminate tomorrow. See you tomorrow ROD.

Day 10 @ Razali Omar Design, Taman Setiawangsa

Hasrul Azrin - 10th November 2010 - Kelantan Task


Arrives at Kelantan at 7.00am and it is a long journey for me and as far as i'm concern the last time i went to Kelantan is in year 2000 and that time i was in a school trip to Kelantan! Wow! Long long long time ago, 10 years ago!

After that we walked to the Hotel about 5 minute walking and we reach at Hotel Raudhah in Kelantan. The room is quite big even though we just pay for Rm147.50 and it full with facilities and not like the other cheap hotel in other places which is they have to share the toilet, no water heater and so on. But we are lucky because this hotel are full with all kind of facilities but no swimming pool! Just kidding! Then we slept for a while at the Hotel because in the bus we cant sleep well because of the environment in the Transnasional bus and i promise to myself that it will be my last time to ride on Transnasional. My last time!

We start work at 2.00pm but we go out early because to find a taxi. We think that its hard to find taxi in Kelantan and guess what, there is taxi all around us! And now i know why is taxi driver all around Kelantan, it is because the taxi charges are quite expensive! From Kota Baru to Kubang kerian is Rm15.00! No wonder all people in here wanted to be taxi driver, and the fun part is, no meter in the taxi! What we do is, we ask the taxi driver where to go and the taxi driver will name the price! Haha! And if in Kuala Lumpur, i think from Kota Baru to Kubang Kerian the charges will be only Rm6.50 only because it is not far enough actually. But we dont have any choice. We hired the taxi and went to Bank Rakyat at Kubang Kerian.

At the Bank Rakyat we were surprises because the balloon were not there, we start thinking if the balloon has flew away.This is not good and Fahmi go to see the person in charge and ask for it, we were shocked because Fahmi went out by holding the box of balloon in it. The staff of Bank Rakyat has pack it up for us because they said the balloon has leak of gas and it drop down. The job become more easier and we as a group roll the ropes and pack all the tools inside the box and we go for a lunch at RFC. Radix Fried Chicken.
I bet there will be no RFC in Kuala Lumpur and guess what RFC has their own branch in Kelantan and the interface are just like KFC! Well Done Kelantan!

Then we go back to our Hotel to kept the balloon and all the tools. We rest and after that we go to KB Mall which is situated at Kota Baru. Its good to see the Mall at the other places because before this we are immune with all the Kuala Lumpur mall but today we take a tour at Kota Baru city.

At 9.00pm we have to go back to Kuala Lumpur but not with Transnasional anymore! Tonight we will be on Sani Ekspress all the way back to Kuala Lumpur! YahoooooooOO! Sani Ekspress is very comfortable and i'm start loving riding a bus actually when i met Sani Ekspress! All the way back to Kuala Lumpur i met a girl and she actually very kind and i hope i can see her back soon. Insyallah. Thanks Kelantan
